Punching, Tool and Die Division: Buildings 11, 15, 17, & 19

The Punching, Tool & Die Division is a service shop for all Divisions in the Schenectady Works and some Allied Plants. Developmental work, special machinery and all the tools and dies needed for production are designed and built in the Tool & Die Section. The Punch Press Section uses 27,000 tons of steel annually to produce millions of punchings varying in weight from 1/1000 of a pound to 1000 pounds each.
