Apprentice Training Division: Building 9

Since the General Electric Company was formed in 1892, it has recognized the necessity for training programs. Training of apprentices to be skilled craftsmen - draftsmen, machinists, pattern makers, and molders - was put on an organized basis in September, 1901. Graduates of these courses are filling many responsible positions within the company.
