To help meet the great demand for more power, construction of a giant new turbine plant was begun here in our Schenectady Works early in 1947. When in full operation some time in 1950, this plant will be the world's largest turbine manufacturing facility. It will produce turbine-generators ranging in size from 20,000 kilowatts to 200,000 kilowatts.
